Indiana University's 2024 Animal Behavior Conference, presented by the Center for the Integrative Study of Animal Behavior was an excellent meeting! Two undergraduate Ketterson lab researchers (Anna Kelson and Ariel Tysver) presented posters on their research.
Anna (pictured above, left) presented her poster, "A comparison of reproductive metrics in captive and wild dark-eyed juncos", which she coauthored with Sarah Wanamaker and Ellen Ketterson. Her poster summarized her research during the Center for Integrative Study of Animal Behavior's Research Experience for Undergraduates in summer 2023. She received an award for outstanding student poster presentation; congratulations Anna!!
Ariel (pictured above) presented a poster entitled, "Artificial light at night and parasite loads in the dark-eyed junco (Junco hyemalis)", which included preliminary results from her senior thesis research. Fantastic work, Ariel!! Click here for poster abstracts.
